CYNTRS™ Has Arrived
San Antonio, Texas – December 14, 2007 – EADS NA Defense Security and Systems Solutions, today announces the release of our CYNTRS™ virtual network emulation and training product for the commercial and military environment.
Johnnie Hernandez, president and CEO quoted from recent presentations “This is an exciting development for our company and the many information technology professionals that will benefit from the capabilities CYNTRS™ can provide”.
Modeled after the highly successful SIMTEX (Simulator Training and Exercise Network) simulator, also developed by EADS NA Defense Security and Systems Solutions, and deployed within the Air Force, CYNTRS™ can simulate your network within its virtual environment allowing your IT team to safely train in network management and defense techniques without impact to your operational network. Using customized attack tools, CYTNRS™ places your network personnel in an all too familiar situation…right in the middle of a cyber attack where they are challenged to detect the hacker, recognize the attack, research the risk, mitigate the threat, and report the incident. CYNTRS™ will give your personnel increased operational awareness and real-world experience in managing and protecting corporate network assets, detecting intrusions, isolating threats, diagnosing system failures or anomalies, and maintaining the security posture of your network.
The training scenarios can be tailored to your organizational
needs and can be automated to provide repeatable events.
Scenarios are based on past, current and evolving threats
your company personnel face everyday in the protection of your
corporate assets. After a scenario terminates, each person is
assisted in evaluating their performance in preparation for the next
training session, thereby enhancing their abilities to better manage
and protect your enterprise network.
